No. 4 Duke (25-4, 12-2 conf.) visits No. 22 Maryland (21-7, 11-3 conf.) in a showdown of the top two teams in the ACC on Wednesday (9 p.m. ET, ESPN).

The Blue Devils are in the hunt for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and a win at Maryland might seal the deal. The Blue Devils have won eight straight overall but they should get a very tough test at Maryland.

Duke is listed as a 1-point road favorite at SBG Global and the total is set at 148.

The Blue Devils got 21 points from Kyle Singler and 20 points from Jon Scheyer on Sunday as they beat Virginia 67-49. It was the 14th time this season that Duke has had two players or more score 20 points in a game.

Earlier this season Scheyer had 22 points when Duke won 77-56 at home against Maryalnd. Singler is averaging 19.5 points per game in his last eight games while Scheyer leads the ACC in three statistical categories.

Duke can clinch the ACC title with a win on Wednesday while Maryland can tie for the top spot if they pull off the upset.

“It’s a big-time game,” Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski said. “Plus it’s (the Terps’) senior night, and (Maryland G Greivis) Vasquez is playing lights out. They’re just playing so well.

“They’re the epitome of who (Coach Gary Williams) is. They’re just so tough-minded and good.”

Winning on the road in the ACC is something that Duke has had success doing – they have won five straight conference road games. The Blue Devils can not only score but they play defense. They lead the country in three-point defense at 26.7 percent.

Maryland is coming off a double overtime win at Virginia Tech on Saturday. Vasquez had a career-best 41 points in the win. Maryland leads the ACC in scoring offense, field goal percentage, assists per game and assist to turnover margin.
