The NFL Playoffs kick off this weekend with the Wildcard round and one of the games has the Pittsburgh Steelers facing the Denver Broncos on Sunday at the Sports Authority Field at Mile High (4:30 pm ET, CBS).

NFL picks have the Steelers as a 9-point favorite and the moneyline betting odds have Pittsburgh as a -380 favorite and the Broncos as a +340 underdog. The over/under is at 34.5.

Head-to-head, Denver is 4-3 straight up and 3-4 against the spread in the past seven meetings. Five of those seven games have gone over the total. The teams last met on Nov. 9, 2009, when the Steelers won 28-10 and covered as a 3-point road favorite. The score was under the total of 41.5.

The Steelers (12-4 straight up, 7-9 against the spread) beat the AFC North rival Cleveland Browns 13-9 on Sunday. Pittsburgh could not cover the spread as a 7.5-point favorite, while the score was under the total of 33.

Denver (8-8 straight up, 7-8-1 against the spread) lost 7-3 to the Kansas City Chiefs and failed to cover as a 2-point home favorite. The score was way under the total of 37.

Pittsburgh is 4-1 SU in its last five games on the road, and is 2-7 against the number in its last nine games on the road. The total has gone under in four of Pittsburgh’s last six games on the road.

Denver is 2-4 SU in its last six games at home. The total has gone over in 13 of Denver’s last 18 games at home.
